For new perspectives Print

CERA has a longstanding commitment to supporting social projects, regional as well as national. Every year we choose a new project with which we can identify. CERA has already been supporting the following institutions for many years: Bunter Kreis (www.bunter-kreis-allgaeu.de) which provides outpatient care and support for children and their families, the Bavarian Mountain Rescue Service (www.bergwacht-bayern.de) and Doctors without Borders.

Now we would like to present a new project that we support. In Baltistan, also called Little Tibet, girls from the mountain villages do not have the opportunity to visit secondary schools. For this reason, CERA is supporting the Himalaya Karakorum Hilfe e.V., which is building a girls’ residential hall in the capital city of Skardu. Through this project, we would like to promote the development and self-determination of the young people there, to give them the opportunity for a better life.

You will find detailed information about this NGO and its current projects at www.karakorum-hilfe.de
